There are two main international pipe flange standards, namely the European pipe flange system represented by German DIN(including the former Soviet Union) and the American pipe flange system represented by American ANSI pipe flange.

In addition, there are Japanese JIS tube flanges, but in petrochemical installations are generally only used for public works, and the international impact is less.

The SO flange is connected to the pipe end. It is mainly a part that connects pipes to pipes. SO the flange has holes, can wear bolts, so that the two flanges are tightly connected, flange with a gasket seal.
